Long Hải Wharf in Phú Quý

Bến Long Hải ở Phú Quý

Long Hải Wharf, locally known as Bến Dốc Cái, is located in Đông Hải Hamlet. During the southwest monsoon season, local fishing boats from Long Hải Commune gather here early every morning. A wide variety of fresh and affordable seafood is available, and visitors can make purchases without worrying about inflated prices.

A typical journey starts from Long Hải Fishing Wharf. It takes about 10 minutes by boat to reach Hòn Đen (Black Islet) and around 20 minutes to get to Hòn Đỏ (Red Islet). Between these two islets lies Hòn Giữa (Middle Islet), which, however, is not suitable for tourism as it consists only of small rocky outcrops with no open space for visitor activities.

At these destinations, tourists can enjoy swimming, fishing, and snorkeling to explore the coral reefs. However, this route is only accessible during the southwest monsoon season when the sea is calm. In contrast, during the northeast monsoon (known locally as gió Bấc), strong winds in the Long Hải area make it unsafe for boat trips.
