The Phu Quy Express high-speed ferry operates on the Phan Thiet – Phu Quy route and is owned by Thanh Thanh Phat Passenger Transportation Company, with a total investment capital of approximately 60 billion VND.

The ferry is newly built, with a 100% aluminum alloy hull design that meets international maritime standards. The Phu Quy Express has a length of 39 meters, a width of 11 meters, and an engine capacity of 3,000 kW. The ferry can travel at a speed of about 30 nautical miles per hour and has the capacity to carry nearly 300 passengers (including 230 sleeping berths) and 15 tons of cargo. It is equipped with a life-saving system (life rafts, life jackets, etc.) to ensure the highest maritime safety for passengers. All cabins are equipped with air conditioning, comfortable seating, televisions, restrooms, and a VIP cabin. During operation, the ferry can withstand high waves of up to level 7 or 8.

The Phu Quy Express high-speed ferry on the Phan Thiet – Phu Quy route not only shortens the distance between the mainland and the island, facilitating transportation between Phan Thiet and Phu Quy, but also contributes to the rapid and sustainable socio-economic development, especially tourism on the island. The operation of the Phu Quy Express high-speed ferry reduces the travel time from Phan Thiet to Phu Quy to approximately 2 hours, creating favorable conditions for the development of tourism and trade between the island and the mainland.
